The ClubR= 17;s first-ever meet in the George Starkey Hut at Patterdal= e resulted in the best attendance for several years. The weather on Saturday = was dry, but with some cloud on the tops and a cold wind at times.=

With such a = large attendance, a wide variety of routes and ascents were completed, including = Hellvellyn via Striding Edge, Do= llywagon Pike, St. Sunday Crag, the Deepdale Horseshoe and Grisedale Tarn.=

The weather = on Sunday was fairly damp and the routes completed were somewhat shorter, but included Sheffield Pike and Place Fell.
